(19/01/2008)Gordon Brown launched the 60,000-pound-a-year project between Everton and Shanghai Disabled Persons' Federation. The project aims to form a grassroots disabled football programme in Shanghai. LSP linked Everton with Shanghai in 2006 and provided support and guidance ever since. LSP also played a major role in seeking sponsorship from Tesco and B&Q.

People from across Merseyside and the world turned out in their thousands on 11th Jan for the opening show to kick-start Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture.
